“It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.”

– Galatians 5:1

When we read the Bible, we see words like forgiveness, comfort, reconciliation and love of enemies surrounding Jesus’ ministry. On the contrary, Satan is defined as the accuser of the brethren and he is associated with things like deception, fear, shame, and punishment. Any church that’s working on the side of the enemy will be characterized by the latter; they will constantly teach judgement and place emphasis on attempting to live up to impossible standards.

Friend, I encourage you to find fellowship with a group of people who live in Jesus’ heart of love and who seek to demonstrate it towards themselves, their friends and their even enemies. Condemnation and shame have no place in the lives of God’s children because where His Spirit is, there is freedom! Be a person who lives free and sets others free in the same manner. As you do, you will bring positive change to the hearts of everyone you encounter and the Kingdom of Heaven will come to earth in a powerful way!

Prayer

Jesus, thank you for empowering me to live a life that sets others free. Help me to reject Satan’s accusations and live fully in your love.
