At least there is hope for a tree: If it is cut down, it will sprout again, and its new shoots will not fail.”

Job 14:7

A lot of people have been burned by overly religious people who say faith is all about rules. Rules are important; It’s all about morality and morality is important. But those people have forgotten the Shekhina glory, the resurrection power that dwells in all of us. As a Christian ages, the glory grows. For a believer, the body may age like milk but the spirit ages like wine. Amen? Within our body there is this amazing thing happening that comes from heaven — it’s called hope — and it will not disappoint. Even though you’re wasting away on the outside: even though you suffer, feel pain, get sick or get persecuted, the power of Jesus Christ is inside of you. And whenever you’re hit, He’s going to hit back. Whenever you’re hurt, He’s going to comfort you. Whenever life comes at you, He will sustain you. And that’s exactly what He says.

Prayer

Thank you Father, for giving us this amazing power and hope. Help us to dwell on this thought, that you’re with us, today and everyday.
