Yesterday, I shared some good news: victory in your spiritual battle begins in the unseen and then becomes reality through the power of God’s Word. You might think you can’t believe it until you see it, but isn’t it interesting how you trust in X-rays, feel the wind, or rely on your thoughts and emotions—even though you can’t see them? In the same way, as you put your faith in God’s Word, you engage in a spiritual battle, and God wants to help you win.

Let’s look again at the armor of God. What’s the first lesson we find in Ephesians 6 for those who want victory? Scripture reminds us: our true struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces. Do you ever feel like your fight is with family, friends, or neighbors? If you’re fighting for your kids, remember—you’re not fighting against them, but for them. The same is true for your church: when you fight for your church, you don’t fight the people inside it; you support and protect them. If you’re fighting for your country, fight for its well-being—not against your fellow citizens. The real fight is spiritual.

My friend, you fight for your country with ideas, persuasion, compassion, listening, and respectful debate. Some of you are fighting for your business or your organization. When you do, remember: don’t fight your employees—they are your team. Fight for them, support them, and lead with purpose. Trust that God is with you in every battle, guiding you and equipping you to overcome.
