“You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.”
– Psalm 23:5
![]() As you step into the authority of the Kingdom of Heaven and your cup spills over, sharing God’s goodness will be a natural outgrowth. In Him, you have more than enough to love even the hardest heart and most calloused soul. Isn’t that great news? |
Prayer
God, thank you for filling my cup to overflowing with your goodness so that I can love everyone, including those who have hurt me.
Reflection
How has God’s love worked in your life to enable you to love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you?

No Bobby, it’s not great news. There is someone who betrayed me in the most vile ways! I do not EVER wish to have him in my circle even at God’s table. And I can’t believe that even if God forgives him that He would put me anywhere near me.
I think it would be helpful if you gave more thought to your devotions, because some people are hurting and will forever hurt because of the callous actions of one who will never take one iota of responsibility for his heinous action.
This devotion is so “Pollyanna”.
By showing the love of GOD by reading studying the book of 1 Corinthians 13- The LOVE Chapter on a daily basis resisting the enemy and he will flee from you and also by showing the Love of GOD to the unlovely people and forgiveness that GOD & the HOLY SPIRIT to change hearts completely with the help of God!
