Staff Spotlight: Audie Munoz

How long have you been with the ministry?

I have been working for this ministry for about five awesome months now!

What do you do for Hour of Power?

I am the Assistant to the Operations Project Manager. When I come to work, I help Adriana out with a large number of things like proofing and making sure our direct mail gets dropped on time, shipping out packages, delivering offers to our warehouse, keeping track of our warehouse inventory, printing/cutting/distributing our bulletins, and much more!

How did God bring you to the ministry?

God brought me to this ministry one day when I was venting to our Choir Conductor, Irene Messoloras, about all of the troubles and frustrations going on at my old job. I told her that really bad things were happening within the company and that it was time for me to leave. Fortunately, she told me that she heard about some openings at Hour of Power and that she would try to get me some more information about it. The next week I applied, and was blessed to have been hired!

What is your favorite part of working here?

My favorite part of coming to work every day is getting to see people who I consider to not only be coworkers, but also my friends! The staff here are all so friendly and positive, it makes me happy to get to see them all each day!

Do you have an impactful story to share from your job?

Something that really impacted me about this job was how kind everyone was to me on my birthday. They all made me feel so loved and appreciated and it took me a bit by surprise considering I hadn’t worked here very long. However, it really warmed my heart and really showed how caring everyone can be!

What is your favorite thing to do outside of work?

Outside of work, I am a part of three different choirs. So I definitely like to sing my heart out!

What are you currently watching on Netflix?

On Netflix, I actually just finished watching all my shows. However, I like to go back and re-watch shows like The Vampire Diaries, Orange is the New Black, Riverdale, or pretty much anything I can binge-watch.

If you were a crayon, what color would you be?

I think if I were a crayon I’d be macaroni yellow. My favorite color is turquoise, but that name is pretty lit.
