“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.”

Deuteronomy 31:6

Today, I just want to remind you of something you already know: You are brave, you are courageous, and you are going to break the back of the nagging fear you have in your life. Whatever it is. Today, you are going to take action. And action makes us finally recognize that the thing that we are afraid of doesn’t have as much power as we thought. I want you to know that I believe in you, that this church believes in you, and most importantly, that God believes in you. And He has a promise that He is holding out to you. But you have to respond. You have to step out in action. I believe that sometimes we are very much like a train that is not moving. Although a train is powerful and strong, a little two by four on the track can keep the train from moving. Just a small thing can keep it from fulfilling what is meant to do and be. We are often like that, right? But that is not who God calls us to be. God asks us to be courageous and take action. So let’s do that today!

Prayer

Thank you Father, for your promises. Help me to step out in action today. Help me to be courageous, cause I know you are with me, always.
