A Future Version of You

“I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.” – Romans 8:18 We often negotiate with ourselves, don’t we? We might think, “What if I start later?” instead of directly addressing the task at hand. Sometimes, we subtly suggest an idea and hope others pick up on it. Other times, we might seek advice first or look for ways to avoid a challenging situation, convincing ourselves to just do it later. The unfortunate truth is that evil will continue to harm us if we hide from it. Consider all the issues that seemed monumental ten years ago; they probably don’t seem that significant now.  Someday, today’s problems will seem easy. If you continue to grow, strengthen yourself, gain knowledge, and stay grounded in the Word of God, everything you’re dealing with now will eventually feel like a piece of cake
