An Ambassador for Humanity
“My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you.” – John 15:12 From time to time, I reflect on the global pandemic, and it’s helpful to draw upon the good that was witnessed in humanity during that trying season. Though that time was extremely trying in some aspects, in other ways, it brought out the best in people. I’ve read hundreds of stories about courageous individuals being the hands and feet of Jesus by providing help and hope to neighbors, and even to strangers. I recall how stores opened early to allow the elderly and most vulnerable to shop, while young people checked in on and took care of those who were older. Families connected remotely, and relationships were strengthened. My encouragement is not to lose sight of the treasure that was unearthed during the unexpected winter season that the world endured. My friend, today and always,
