Be Aware

“So that there should be no division in the body, but that its parts should have equal concern for each other. If one part suffers, every part suffers with it; if one part is honored, every part rejoices with it. Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it.” – 1 Corinthians 12:25-17 Yesterday we talked about the gift of vulnerability and how it enables us to have the best of human relationships. Today, I want to talk to you about the second thing you can do to enhance the quality and depth of your connections with others — be aware. Look for people’s pain and when you find it, be present with it; empathize and share in their experience.
