“Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds.” – Hebrews 10:23,24 When we discuss the little stresses in life, we also need to consider how we, as Christians, respond to larger challenges. What do we do when facing significant stress? How do we handle trauma, crises, or catastrophic events? I’m not referring to minor issues like a breakup; I’m talking about serious matters such as war, having a sick child, or dealing with death. There’s a saying that God won’t give you more than you can handle. That’s misleading. The Bible doesn’t say that, and in reality, life often presents us with far more than we can manage. I need the Lord; I cannot handle these challenges on my own. God has provided us with His Word,
