A Kingdom of God Need

“For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.” – Matthew 25:35,36 Today, we acknowledge this Patriots Day marking the 21st anniversary of the 9/11 attacks. We honor in prayer those whose lives were lost, and the unparalleled changes to the families personally affected, along with our citizens, and our nation.  Yesterday we encouraged you to put your Jesus glasses on, so you can see where your calling is. Be directed by asking yourself, “Where is there a need in the Kingdom of God that begs to be fulfilled?” God will utilize all your unique skills, experience, and perspectives as you answer the call.

Wisdom is Weightier than Gold

“How much better to get wisdom than gold, to get insight rather than silver!” – Proverbs 16:16 Let me ask you a question: Would you rather have a million dollars or the wisdom to make a million dollars? How you answer that says a lot about your priorities. However, don’t feel bad if you chose the money — who wouldn’t want resources like that just thrown in their lap?
