Don’t Arrive Safely

“Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails.” – Proverbs 19:21 I remember sitting in the Crystal Cathedral, I heard Reverend Dr. Tony Campolo, make one of the most brilliant statements. He said, “I do not want to tiptoe through life only to arrive safely at my death.” That’s no way to live! There’s a considerable cost to giving into your fears or kicking the can down the road and just allowing life to happen.  As the late great American entrepreneur, author, and motivational speaker Jim Rohn said, “Wait till they send you the bill for that one.” Wait till they send you the bill for not investing in yourself, not pursuing your dream, or not becoming all you could have become.
