Ending Well

“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” – Galatians 6:9 Yesterday, we talked about the necessity of endings and how living our best with Jesus will always require us to transition to new seasons. Today, I want to look at two easy — yet incorrect — ways we may be tempted to make such changes. Most of us, when faced with the unpleasant emotions demanded by closing a chapter, will choose to either fight or flight. That means we’ll end something in haste and anger or we’ll simply disappear; however neither one of these responses sets us up for success in the future. Our Staff Gets Festive This Christmas … With Their Doors!

During this Christmas season at Hour of Power and Shepherd’s Grove, we enjoy celebrating as a staff. In addition to our staff Christmas party, we had some friendly competition between offices to get into the spirit. Our different departments participated in our door decorating contest by decorating either one or both of the doors to their offices! We had some very creative doors that we want to share with you! Jim Dawson was our special guest judge for the occasion, and he decided that it was a tie for the winner.  Our HR/Payroll and Communications offices both won, and will enjoy a pizza party with Bobby!
