Faith Is for Today

“Just then a woman who had been subject to bleeding for twelve years came up behind him and touched the edge of his cloak. She said to herself, ‘If I only touch his cloak, I will be healed.’ ” – Matthew 9:20,21 Yesterday, I shared how Brother Kenneth Hagin, while desperately seeking healing, encountered a pastor who referenced Mark 11:24. However, instead of affirming God’s healing power, the pastor solemnly prayed, “Oh, Brother Hagin, it won’t be long now—you’ll be standing before the pearly gates.” Then, in speaking with his parents, he told them that they should prepare the casket, pick a burial plot, and decide on funeral songs. Still, the question burned in Kenneth’s mind: Is it really true that whatever you ask for in prayer, believing, you will receive? As Brother Hagin prayed, the Holy Spirit brought to his remembrance the story of the woman with the issue
