God Wants Us To Ask
“And whatever you ask in prayer, you will receive, if you have faith.” – Matthew 21:22 Today, I want you to know that God wants us to ask—not just hint or hope, but truly ask. We shouldn’t rely on someone else, like a priest or pastor, to ask on our behalf. Of course, it’s fine to request prayers from others—I am always glad to pray for you—but God wants each of us to ask personally! Your prayers are just as powerful as mine. Did you know that? In fact, if you have more faith than I do, your prayers may be even stronger. God shows no favoritism. You are His son or daughter, just as I am. So God wants us to ask. This is the phrase Jesus uses to describe how we should ask. Should we ask politely? Quietly? Only once? Should we timidly add, ‘If it’s your will?’
