What we consume and think about is an excellent indicator of what our future can become. Here’s something my grandfather Dr. Schuller taught me: “Focus not on what you’ve lost; focus on what you have.” It is easier said than done to always look at what you have left, never at what you have lost. The Umpire of Your Heart

And be thankful.” – Colossians 3:15 One of the cool things about walking with Jesus is that He offers us a barometer by which to gauge how we’re doing, and that’s peace. The Bible says that this powerful fruit of the Spirit should have the rule in our lives; in other words, it should be our guide.
