Have Courage!

“Be strong and courageous, because you will lead these people to inherit the land I swore to their ancestors to give them.” – Deuteronomy 31:6 As we continue talking about moving and taking action in response to the call of Jesus and the promptings of His Spirit, there is a word that’s important to both understand and remember: courage.  Webster’s defines courage as “mental or moral strength to venture, persevere, and withstand danger, fear, or difficulty,” and it’s virtue that is always required when you make a choice to take action. As much as I’m a thinker and a person who loves to reflect, the greatest work of God in my life has been accomplished through actions that put my faith into motion.
