He Turns Tragedy Into Victory

“We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed.” – 2 Corinthians 4:8-9 When I look back on my life and my suffering, I realize that I was perplexed, hard-pressed, cast down, and persecuted. But Perplexed is the number one word. I didn’t understand why I was going through so much. But when I look back I realize that He was always with me, never left me and ensured me: Son, I love you. Never give up. And so that word is for you. Whatever suffering you’re going through, it is so easy to fall into one of two habits. The first is despair and self-pity.
