By Megan Ewbank  Over the past few months, Our Hour of Power with Bobby Schuller team has been meeting, planning, and dreaming as we were seeking God’s call on how to further reach people … not only on the air but on the ground, as well! We are calling this initiative Hour of Power Cares, and we’re really excited about it. We are working to aid and encourage our own community in Orange County, but since we’re a global ministry as well, we wanted to do something on a global scale. And through much divine connection, we felt strongly that God was leading us to Kenya.  With a little trepidation and a lot of joy,  a member of our awesome staff,  Amber, and myself, embarked on a long journey to Africa. Introducing Hour of Power Cares

Welcome to a behind-the-scenes look into the new initiative we’re launching called Hour of Power Cares. It will enable us to further carry God’s message of love and dignity by loving and for our local community — and beyond! The first thing we were able to do was partner with Tracy, who has a powerful story. She spent a period of time in her life homeless — bouncing around to different shelters that may or may not have the room to take her in. Now that she’s on her feet, she spends much of her time and resources talking with, providing for, and caring about the homeless community in Orange County. We were grateful for the opportunity to provide Tracy with 200 Hour of Power blankets to pass out in the community during the winter months.
