Jesus Wants to Be With You
“Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own;” – 1 Corinthians 6:19 Did you know that God wants to be with you? In Jesus’ day, The House, or temple, was the place where people gathered to be with God, the Father. This House of God was a symbol of God’s love and grace for us. Throughout all the Old and the New Testaments, you constantly see God desperately wanting to be with His people. Sometimes His people are with Him, and other times they sin and fall away. Maybe you feel this way at times. The temple was also where you could make atonement or reconciliation for your sins.
