Knowledge Is Courage
“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.” – Deuteronomy 31:61 What’s the difference between courage and stupidity? That’s a good question. I’m glad you asked. Courage, unlike stupidity, is rooted in knowledge. But just because you have the knowledge doesn’t mean it’s not scary. I remember my first ropes course. They give you this harness and you’ve got two ropes, you have a helmet, and you feel like a baby in like a jumper and you’re supposed to walk this gauntlet that’ll sometimes be 120 feet in the air. You know you’re safe, you’re completely safe. Nobody ever gets hurt and nor would they. You’re so safe, yet, your whole body kicks into gear like, “don’t do this, don’t you dare do this.” Courage is rooted in the knowledge
