Life in the Spirit

“The Spirit gives life; the flesh counts for nothing. The words I have spoken to you—they are full of the Spirit and life.” – John 6:63 Today, I want to assure you that there is life in the Spirit! Yesterday, I shared that even in the days of the Apostle Paul, when he was with some of the first disciples on a missionary trip, they had received from John, the baptism of repentance, which signified that they were freed from their sins. However, Paul offered them a new baptism in the name of Jesus Christ, through which they would receive the Holy Spirit. When Paul laid hands on them, they began to speak in tongues and prophesy. I cannot help but think of the many Christians today who may share this same experience. Many Christians today have received a baptism, but for them, it often feels like only a baptism
