Life Without Lack

“The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters,” – Psalm 23:1-2 As we begin our series on eternal living, the first thing that stands out to me is this: eternal living is a life without lack. This is the life that Jesus describes is made available to us in the Kingdom of God. Immediately, many of us think wealth equates to an expensive automobile or a big house. Can I tell you there are many people who have means, but have very little meaning? There are people of wealth who have all the things that everybody else desires, but they don’t contain any significance. He is Our Shepherd

“The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for his name’s sake.” – Psalm 23:1-3 We will be looking at Psalm 23 for the next few days as we continue talking about living a life without lack and having everything we need in the sufficiency of God’s Kingdom.
