Life Without Lack
“The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters,” – Psalm 23:1-2 As we begin our series on eternal living, the first thing that stands out to me is this: eternal living is a life without lack. This is the life that Jesus describes is made available to us in the Kingdom of God. Immediately, many of us think wealth equates to an expensive automobile or a big house. Can I tell you there are many people who have means, but have very little meaning? There are people of wealth who have all the things that everybody else desires, but they don’t contain any significance. Many people around the world have an abundance of food, but no nourishment, and some have plenty to drink, but are still thirsty. With all these assets, many still don’t feel fulfilled
