Servant Leadership

Here to Serve Others

“You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love.” – Galatians 5:13 Today I will conclude our study of three cultural keys. The first key is the importance of connecting with others. The second key we discussed yesterday highlighted that we are antifragile. Last but not least, Jesus told us we’re not here to be served, we’re here to serve others. Servant leadership is all about other people. Jesus lived life powerfully by serving others. “Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another’s feet.” – John 13:14 What do you think about when you hear the phrase “love your enemies”? Simply put, leadership is influence, and our objective as we plant ideas and deeds into the world is to make the Lord apparent to others so that they want to learn more about Him and receive His life into theirs. Our innate human drive to control is in direct opposition to servant
