Thank

Pause, Pray, Thank

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.” – Philippians 4:6 I know that many of you are mathematically oriented individuals. There is a simple equation that can be found in Philippians 4:6. Here’s the practice it gives us: pause, pray, and thank! That’s it! It’s simply to pause, pray, and thank! I would like you to repeat this phrase aloud if you are able to do so: Pause, pray, give thanks! If your car gets broken into, you receive a rotten email, or somebody says something negative to you, no matter the case, you pause, you pray, and you thank God. There’s no way you’re letting that incident drain your joy or mental energy.  The first instruction is to pause. By taking a moment to pause, you will be able to change your focus to God
