The Call of Christianity

“This is how we know that we live in him and he in us: He has given us of his Spirit. And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent his Son to be the Savior of the world.” – 1 John 4:13,14 For the ancients, it must have been very hard to understand what the human spirit was like. It’s something that is now a lot easier for us to understand. In today’s world, we think in terms of hardware and software. As a metaphor, hardware could be compared to your body, while software could be compared to your human spirit. A great analogy that applies to today’s great dilemma is that our spirit, “our software,” has become “corrupted.” We have some malware and some viruses that have compromised the software and need to be reformatted. It is the call of Christianity to have a new beginning.
