Ending Well
“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” – Galatians 6:9 Yesterday, we talked about the necessity of endings and how living our best with Jesus will always require us to transition to new seasons. Today, I want to look at two easy — yet incorrect — ways we may be tempted to make such changes. Most of us, when faced with the unpleasant emotions demanded by closing a chapter, will choose to either fight or flight. That means we’ll end something in haste and anger or we’ll simply disappear; however neither one of these responses sets us up for success in the future.
