Trust the Lord
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;” – Proverbs 3:5 When you are new to the faith, God understands your need to see something. To solidify your faith, you may need to see the water part like the red sea, or a miracle to occur quickly. As we grow older in the faith, God asks us to be bigger than that — to believe first. It is a matter of trusting Him. Whenever we say, “I have to keep seeing” we’re really saying, “I don’t believe.” Imagine a wife who demands that her husband show her a list of everything he did all day when he comes home from work.
