“After Jesus was born in Bethlehem in Judea, during the time of King Herod, Magi from the east came to Jerusalem and asked, ‘Where is the one who has been born king of the Jews? We saw his star when it rose and have come to worship him.’”  – Matthew 2:1,2 Since we’ve been looking at the shepherds and their role in the Christmas story, it wouldn’t be fair to leave out the wise men, who were technically known as Magi. Though history seems to have recorded that there were three of them, the Bible doesn’t tell us how many of these travelers from the east actually came to find Jesus.
