You Are God’s Friend

“If you say, ‘The Lord is my refuge,’ and you make the Most High your dwelling, no harm will overtake you, no disaster will come near your tent.” – Psalm 91:9,10 Today is Valentine’s Day, a holiday to honor love! It is through the Holy Spirit that we have received the love of God — it is steadfast and unchanging!  I want to tell you what was going on when Moses wrote Psalm 91. When God called him up to Mt. Sinai to give him the Ten Commandments, the people down below got really impatient. Even as they saw the Lord’s glory on the mountain, they became angry and decided to spit in God’s face by building a golden calf as an idol and partaking in horrible revelry as they worshiped it. In response to their sin, the Lord told Moses that He would no longer go before them but
