You Have Plenty of Time
“But a Samaritan, as he traveled, came where the man was; and when he saw him, he took pity on him.” – Luke 10:33 I’ve noticed that when we travel, we’re often in a rush. Picture this: someone ahead of you is moving slowly, and impatience flares up, tempting you to judge them harshly—even though you know nothing about them. Why do we react this way? The answer is simple: we’re in a hurry. When we’re late for a flight and someone is in our path, frustration takes over. It’s striking how easily our sense of urgency and self-importance can make it difficult to be patient, kind, or attentive to others, especially those who slow us down. This reminds me of the story of the Good Samaritan—a tale about people who should have helped someone in need but didn’t, simply because they were in a hurry. I’ve shared this story
