“Live in harmony with one another. Do not be proud, but be willing to associate with people of low position. Do not be conceited.”

– Romans 12:16

Our feelings of shame and unworthiness of love are — more than anything else — the thing that keeps us from bonding deeply with others and receiving a deep sense of joy. I just want to let you know you can let go of that and just be who you are. Be vulnerable and allow yourself to be open to shame, ridicule, and attack. You take a risk by doing this, but the payoff is greater. The payoff could be an opportunity to have a deep connection and bond with another person.

Prayer

I pray, God, for the payoff of my vulnerability. Help me to take the risk and to effectively bond deeply with my friends and family.
