 The world needs bonding, the world needs real friendships, and the world needs to go deep with others, and the church is the solution. But when I say the church, I don’t mean an institution or a bunch of creeds, robes, and buildings. When I say church, I mean the family of God on earth. We, not as just Shepherd’s Grove, but as all believers united in compassion and love for one another, are the answer to our restless and competitive world. We are the family of Abraham that is blessed and called to be doing God’s work. We are a church full of mercy, grace, and guidance, and that’s the answer. Instead of being a proud church but a humble church that’s vulnerable. |
Prayer
God, help us be the church that is there for the unchurched. Help us to be like you for people and to be a light in this world.
