“But whenever anyone turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.”

– 2 Corinthians 3:16,17

I shared yesterday that I compiled seven Biblical world-changer thoughts you can incorporate to keep your mind healthy, and the first one is to focus on the spiritual world behind the material world. The greatest power comes from the spiritual world! We live in a universe where either everything is exactly as it seems, or there is more than meets the eye. In my opinion, the world around us contains a lot more than what meets the eye. Often, we don’t give much thought to what we see right in front of us.

One night I was sitting on my porch drinking coffee. There was a spider and normally it would be unpleasant and unnerving, but I watched this spider build a beautiful web. It took a while, but it did everything perfectly. Interestingly, Mama spider did not come to the little baby spider and say, “Here’s how we’re going to do it. It’s this way and that way, and make sure you cross this way.” The spider just knew. How did it know? Scientists say it’s instinct, and somehow that settles the matter. That doesn’t settle it for me. Putting a word on something doesn’t mean it’s settled.

Friend, this is what it’s like to see behind the veil into the spiritual realm. In your heart, you know what you’ve experienced, what you believe, and what you feel. It’s not always easy to find the right language to describe it. You know it in your heart, even if it doesn’t always make sense. You have the peace and assurance that God and the power of the spiritual realm is real. You understand the purpose and greatest power that comes from the spiritual realm.

Father, give me insight into the spiritual world as the source of the greatest power.

Can you describe a spiritual realm experience that God has given you?

  1. Your ministry is very good I thank you so much this one is very important I would love to know more on this subject

  2. I remember your grandfather told a similar story about a unique species of bird raised in captivity. When released into the wild, it knew exactly how to build a nest necessary for the bird species. Somehow, this story has never been forgotten and is another example of the spider you observed. We do live in a unique world, and there is a lot more to it than we can see.

  3. When I was 11 years old my parents said that we are going to stock-car racing and there will be a smash-up derby at the end, if I want to come to get ready now. But my friends and I were playing street hockey and for some reason I did not want to go for the first time, so they left and we kept playing and not 30 min. after they left my grandmother came not telling anyone that she was coming 2 thousand miles to see us for a week. If I had gone with my parents that night she would have had to wait out side for 5 hours for us to come back home. When they did get back I told them guess who came while you were gone? My parents did not believe me when I told them, until my grandmother came out of my bedroom to prove it, what a surprise that was that night. Me and my grandmother were very close thanks be to God for changing my mind about not going with them that night. Amen.

  4. Once while praying, seemingly the veil was slightly lifted and I caught a glimpse of some world – it lasted for a second and I remember I immediately lowered my head in humility, realizing this was “too much” for me, so to speak. Very humbled feeling. I have had various dreams. I used to dream of moving, colorful geometry shapes that spoke to me! I think there is more to mathematics and geometry than what meets the eye. I think it God is supernatural and all-powerful but it will all make logical, mathematical sense one day! I know I sound loony, but these are my experiences and thoughts!
