“Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much, and whoever is dishonest with very little will also be dishonest with much.”
-Luke 16:10

We serve a God who calls little things big and calls big things little. We serve a God who very much cares about the little hidden things and the secret things that most other people don’t care about.

People, in general, care about the big things – the famous things, the things that are obvious – but God cares about the little things.

Many huge ministries have reached millions of people and then crumbled overnight because of moral failure. There are huge businesses that made billions of dollars that crumbled overnight because its bookkeepers and leaders didn’t have integrity. It’s the little things that destroy the big things. That’s why God cares about the little things.

Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you for caring about the little things, the most important things. It comforts me to know that I am one of those “little things” that you love in a big way. I love you, too. Amen.

Reflection: What are the “big things” that you care about that God doesn’t?
