Let’s continue the conversation about what it means to carry God’s Name, through the story of Moses. When the Lord appeared to his servant and gave him the charge to lead His people out of Egypt and into the Promised Land, Moses felt insufficient to carry out this assignment. He was concerned about how he would be received by the Israelites since he had lived most of his life in Egyptian nobility. He knew he needed to come in the name of a higher authority to give them instructions. 

Moses boldly asked the Lord to grant him the privilege of coming in His Name. In response, Yahweh stated His title and gave His servant permission to align His Name with the power of His office. When identifying Himself, God alone was the One who fulfilled everything in every way—the only I AM. He was the beginning and the end; the true author and owner of everything created. With Him on Moses’ side, no other permission would ever be necessary! ​

My friend, whatever your Savior has asked you to do, you can conquer it in His Name! No challenge that stands before you is greater than the great I AM, and with Him on your journey, your outcome is certain. He is your source; you can meet any fear head-on in the authority of Jesus Christ, the one true God. You must simply keep moving forward, boldly and confidently claiming the Name that is above every Name!
