 Have you ever been called a dreamer? It’s interesting how the term can carry both positive and negative connotations. Some people say it with excitement, while others use it in a dismissive way as if to say, “You’re just a dreamer.” I’ve spent time around many dreamers, builders, and doers—people who aspire to achieve great things for God. Through my observations, I’ve noticed two distinct types of dreamers in this world.
The first type is the dreamer, who talks a lot but does little, eventually giving up. The second type, however, is the dreamer who perseveres and never stops pursuing their goals. Today, we kick off a new series, where I will discuss how to become what I’m calling an “unstoppable dreamer.” We will explore ways to embrace this mindset and rise above ridicule on the path to success. Friend, let’s start here. Take a moment to think about the dream that God has placed in your heart. Perhaps your dream is to plant a church, go to the mission field, write a book, create a film, produce a work of art, or initiate political reform to improve your city or country. Maybe your dream is to have a family. You might know someone whose dream hasn’t yet come to fruition, but don’t let that discourage you from pursuing your own aspirations. Throughout the Bible, we see evidence that God supports those who have dreams. He wants to assist and help what He has placed in your heart evolve into something great in the world! |
Prayer
Father, as an unstoppable dreamer, empower me to relentlessly pursue my goals and turn my visions into reality.
