Jesus overcame a seemingly invisible enemy that sought to derail His eternal mission and purpose. If you’re anything like me, there have been many times when my determination has been tested while walking the Christian path. I’ve discovered that forbearance and endurance have been my saving grace. There is always a need to practice patience. The true test of character is not a positive outlook at the start of an endeavor; it’s a willingness to maintain a position of joy and faith, even as the road grows long. 

Friend, for our Savior, the journey to Calvary was not short, nor was it without extreme pain and peril, yet He persisted. The Lord carried His cross until the work was finished, and you and I must do the same. Though it might mean enduring disappointment, giving up things we’ve long been looking forward to, and dealing with feelings of sadness or isolation, we will prevail with the Holy Spirit’s help. In Jesus, every difficulty is resurrected to reveal a divine destiny, and every problem is transformed into possibility!
