“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.”
– Romans 8:28
![]() Many of you are going through a hard time right now. Maybe you’ve lost a loved one. Maybe your child or grandchild is sick. Maybe you lost your job. Maybe you are going through a bad break-up. And so you might be wrestling with the question why this happened to you. And whatever it is you’re going through, I just want to encourage you to let that question go. Everybody has that question, but even if you get the answer at this time, it is not going to help you. You are asking the wrong question. The question you should be asking is: “Will I get through this? Will I get victory?” And the answer is yes. Victory is yours. Good things are coming for you. That is the answer. I know we want to know the “why,” I know, and someday you will know. But a part of living life in faith means not having all the answers, and trusting a very big God who does have all the answers. |
Prayer
Father, thank you for your unconditional love. I am going through hard times, and I am so desperate to know the “Why?” Please help me to let go of that question. Thank you for the promise that I will have victory, God.
Reflection
Can you trust God’s plan, without knowing all the answers?
