Ken Medema is an Hour of Power favorite. Born nearly blind, Ken began playing the piano at age five and today performs all over the world. Ken’s performances regularly include songs that have been improvised both musically and lyrically and are based on a sermon or story he has just heard. Today, Ken performs “Sing Hallelujah” and with the Hour of Power Choir, “Rise Up” (both composed by Ken Medema). He is accompanied by Dr. Marc Riley and the Hour of Power Orchestra. Ken also performs a song called “Reflection Song” which is based on the sermon he just heard by Bobby.
Directed by Michael Skidgel, the Hour of Power Choir, along with soloists Diane Reynolds and Robert MacNeil, performs “The Lord is My Shepherd” (comp: John Rutter). The choir is accompanied by Zeljko Marasovich on the organ and Dr. Marc Riley and the Hour of Power Orchestra.
