“Oh, the depth of the riches of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable his judgments, and his paths beyond tracing out!”

– Romans 11:23

Today we continue exploring God’s solutions. I want us to consider that His solutions are suitable for all of the world’s problems. There are many reasons they’re good, but one of the main reasons is that time is always on God’s side. Time is on your side too when you’re doing life with Him! There are seasons when it doesn’t feel that way, perhaps as we get older, or a well-thought-out plan becomes out of order. We all must face difficult changes. But when you serve and do life with God, time is on your side.

Speaking of time, we all like to save time, don’t we? That’s why I love frozen Neapolitan pizzas. I may buy ten, put them in the freezer, and when I’m hungry and need a quick meal in minutes, it’s done! I have a good friend who makes authentic and delicious Neapolitan pizzas, and he made one for me! He pulled out all the fresh ingredients and made dough that took hours. He put a tasty garlic sauce on it that he whisked up the night before, added the mozzarella circles, and then into the outdoor wood fire oven it went! The difference between my mediocre pizza and his amazing pizza was that his pizza takes time.

Friend, as I’ve learned in life, this is the way God is. He doesn’t settle for frozen pizzas! He enjoys taking His time to make your life what it should be. When you’re in the hands of the Master, there are no quick fixes. As we embrace God’s solution, we understand that we can have absolute trust in Him, His timing, and His ways. As we accomplish our responsibilities in God’s way, things will get better.

Father, thank You for taking your time to make my life what it should be.

Do you feel like time is on your side? Are you patient in embracing God’s solutions?
