Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’ The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’There is no commandment greater than these.’

– Mark 12:30-31

When we’re going through trials, it’s hard to even think of ourselves as blessed. But man, you have so much in your life now and you have so many good things coming. People are going to hurt you, do unfair things, abandon you when you need them the most, and say hurtful things, but we can let it go. We can give it to the Lord. We’re too blessed to worry about it. God is too good; life is too good to spend one moment angry. We’re just going to smile and enjoy life. Yes, there are times when we have to fight and argue, but most of the time we can just let it go. You don’t need to hold a grudge. You can love people just where they are. Nobody’s perfect.

Prayer

Thank you, God, for giving me the opportunity to let go of my hurt. Help me to give it to you and to just enjoy life.
