Yesterday, I mentioned that every hero of faith encountered negative emotions such as fear, embarrassment, and doubt about whether they truly heard from God. I can imagine them questioning if their visions were misguided. They faced advice from family, friends, spouses, and neighbors who discouraged them from pursuing their missions. Nevertheless, they persevered, and God blessed them for their determination. Today, I want to talk about the right ways to deal with failure!

When we experience failure, we have the opportunity to build principles. I learned this from Ray Dalio, the co-chief investment officer of the world’s largest hedge fund and author of “Principles: Life & Work.” He stated, “I learned that failing is an essential step toward success, and that the key to success lies in knowing how to both strive for a lot and fail well,” he observes. “By failing well, I mean being able to experience painful failures that provide big learnings without failing badly enough to get knocked out of the game.”

Friend, whenever we face a loss or failure, there’s an opportunity to find a treasure within that experience. This principle can help us avoid repeating the same mistakes. Remember, you can attract what you desire by letting go of what doesn’t serve you and believing in your identity as God’s beloved child. You’re like a diamond in the rough, still being refined for a greater purpose!
