Trust Your Life to Jesus Christ

“Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners—of whom I am the worst.“

– 1 Timothy 1:15

Wherever you are today, I encourage you to lean on Jesus and trust your life to Him right now. Whether you’re making your first commitment or recommitting, the change you’ll experience will be life-giving. It’s important to not simply say that your family is Christian or that you think of yourself as a good person. Instead, you can say, “I’m a disciple, a committed follower of Jesus, and I trust my life to Him.” Your faith in Jesus’ death and resurrection is based on his sacrifice for you on the cross. As you trust in Him, your life can change for the better.

It says in the Bible, “Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you.” This is what God says. You may think, “Well, I just want Him to draw near to me.” However, it doesn’t work that way and maybe you think that’s unfair. My friend, I give you hope today that God will draw near to you as you draw near to Him. Watch how much your life will be transformed when you do this. Most importantly, by making this decision, you can choose life!

Friend, my prayer for you is that today you will make a decision to get out of the boat, start a whole new life, turn your back on the thing that is keeping you from success, and take action to change that. I pray that today, you will be able to put your trust in the strength that God gives you through the Holy Spirit, rather than rely on your own strength. As you continue to trust your life to Christ, your life will change for the better!

Prayer

Father, rather than relying on my own strength, help me to trust in your strength.
