 When Jesus sent people out, He always sent them two by two, or in a group. Jesus would send His disciples out without food, money, weapons, jackets, or shoes, but He would never send them alone. He understands that this is how we are made and how we are built, and we can’t help but become like the people we spend most of our time with. The book of Genesis describes God creating different things, and it always says they are good. His creation of light and darkness was good. The earth, plants, and animals he created are good. Mankind was created by Him, and He declared it to be very good, but then He said, “It is not good for man to be alone.”A person cannot be truly great if they are alone. Binding your heart to other people who are honorable individuals will mold you into the person God has called you to be. This is why small groups like our Rooted Bible Study fellowships are so valuable! Keeping your connections in check is as simple as not hanging around people you’d feel embarrassed to share your prayers, your dreams, or your testimony with.
Friend, would you like to have a more active prayer life? Are you looking for a bigger dream? Do you want to accomplish more in your life? You won’t be able to achieve your dreams if you surround yourself with people who are embarrassed by what God has given you to accomplish. You should love and care for them, but you also need to surround yourself with people who will help you achieve your dreams. Ask the Lord to give you people with sincere hearts. I assure you this community wants to be with you! |

When he said he doesn’t believe Jacob wrestled with an angel. If the Bible says he wrestled then that’s what he did.

I sustained an infection in my groin which hurts considerably. One of my dreams is to run another marathon which I have not done in over eight years
I’m asking God to heal this infection so I can continue to run and be prepared. I have had anxiety but I am trusting him, regardless, please pray for me that this would heal completely
Please pray for me for healing of my illnesses with speed recovery and bless me spiritually, emotionally, physically and mentally Amen!
