“The Lord your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you; in his love he will no longer rebuke you, but will rejoice over you with singing.”

Zephaniah 3:17

Maybe you feel beat up. Maybe you just lost something, and the things you’re saying to yourself are not according to God’s word. You’re saying things you yourself like, I’m never going to succeed, I’m never going to thrive, I’m never going to be a good person, I’m never going to beat this addiction, I’m never going to beat my depression or my anxiety or my fear. I’m never going to get where I want to be. I’m not enough. Instead, you are the apple of God’s eye. He wants you to believe what the Word of God says about you: that you’re above and not beneath, that you’re the head and not the tail. You’re beloved, you’re forgiven, you’re chosen, you’re victorious, you’re favored, you’re blessed, and you have nowhere but good places to go to because you are in Christ Jesus. And this is why we need to shift our thinking.

Thank you, God, for loving me so much. Thank you for thinking such great things about me. Shift my thinking so that I can believe what you say about me.
