If you think you are what you have, then join the club, because we all do it and we’re usually unaware of it.
If we’re concerned when we’re not dressed a certain way, driving the right vehicle, or wearing the right hairstyle, or if losing everything we have scares us, we are identifying ourselves by what we have.
Not just wealthy people do this. Everybody does this. Even poor people do this when they’re afraid of getting rich because they won’t have their poor friends anymore. I have seen it in every economic level. People do this everywhere.
You’re not what you have or don’t have. You’re the beloved of God! No one can take that from you.
