“…not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.” -Hebrews 10:25

Here’s something we have to remember regarding the treasures in our storehouse: You can’t give what you don’t have. In other words, an inner life of prayer is going to be key if you’re going to be the kind of person that wants to make a positive difference in the world.

Very often, I see pastors who are like thirsty men who would kill for a glass of water. It’s as if they’re holding a hose spraying people down. They’re forcing some kind of religion on others when they, themselves, are dying from thirst.

So, this is what I want to say to you, that no matter who you are, you are called to share your faith with others. You are called to make disciples. Are you ready?

PRAYER: Dear Lord, sometimes I am at a loss for how to share my faith in you. I want to learn how to draw people closer to you. Amen.
