Simon Peter answered him, “Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life.”

John 6:68

I recognize that God’s heart burns for everyone, but in particular, I have seen that Jesus was and is a friend of sinners and that we too (as believers), should be friends of sinners. We should have friends in our lives that are not believers that we become friends with and care for. We should be public about our faith and live in that sort of happy medium of agreeing to disagree. I think it is so important that we become the kinds of people that share our faith. If you’ve never shared your faith with anybody, you’re missing out on one of the most joyful life-giving things about being Christian. Friends, we have the words of life. In a world that is dying and hurting, there are so many people that can only be touched by only you. And if you share your faith in a way that is kind, loving, empathetic, and relational, I promise you’re going to change the world for eternity.
