Our main thought for today is: You are alive for a reason, so do the work. Find out what the work is and don’t put it off. Just fulfill it. You never know, there could be one more person you need to talk to, one more person you need to pray for, one more gift you need to give, one more thing you need to say, or one more story you need to write — but it must be done. It is for this reason that God put you here, not by accident and not just to take up space. Discovering that you are here to do something for God’s purpose is the key to obtaining a life of greater significance.

It’s my belief that every Christian’s last day should be one of their best days. When you know your last day is approaching, you won’t spend that day just sitting around, you’ll be praying for someone, encouraging others, writing to that special person, or calling them. It doesn’t matter how sick you are, how broken your body is, or how old you get; you are here not for your own reasons but for God’s reasons. There isn’t a sparrow in the sky that falls without the Lord’s observation. He is holding you in the palm of His loving hands. 

Friend, this is what it means to wake up every day with a purpose, no matter how many challenges you endure. Know that there is a purpose for you. No matter what your body does, your God-given spirit and mind are moving in your purpose. It is there that you find true life every single day!
